Hi, I am Luciana!
For years, I experienced anxiety, low self esteem, emotional overwhelm, grief, identity loss, disorganized attachment, and the confusion of not knowing where to start. It took time and education to understand these were not random issues. They were expressions of CPTSD and developmental trauma. I know what it is like when your nervous system stays on edge and your mind does not rest.

My background blends lived experience with formal education.

• Associate’s degree in Mind Body Transformational Psychology
• Multidisciplinary Bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness and Social Sciences from the University of Texas at El Paso
• Currently completing a Master’s degree in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology

For over ten years, meditation, mindfulness, and contemplative practice shaped how I lived and how I worked. I trained within the Mahajrya Buddhist tradition and guided hundreds of meditation classes over the years. That foundation continues to inform how I understand the nervous system, awareness, and regulation.

In 2021, burnout required me to pause. I stepped back, listened to my body, and used this time to expand my education. My focus shifted toward a more grounded and science based approach to supporting people with developmental trauma and CPTSD. This period reshaped how I understand healing, capacity, and sustainability.

It is a deep passion of mine to educate others on how common CPTSD is, especially among women. Many of us live with its effects without knowing what we are experiencing or how to work with it in a supportive way. Through my studies in positive psychology, I am exploring how people with CPTSD build meaning, safety, and joy in their lives. We deserve lives that feel fulfilling and connected.

At this time, I am not offering one on one sessions or meditation classes. This space exists to share the practices, reflections, and frameworks that helped me return to balance, authenticity, and a deeper connection with life.

You do not need fixing. You need safety, understanding, and time.

 

My Grounding Practice 

My grounding practice is simple and intentional. I place one hand on my chest, take a slow deep breath, and gently say: 
"I create safety in my body."

My Sagittarius rising adds openness, perspective, and an encouraging presence that helps people feel supported as they grow and explore new ways of being.
